Best gluten free pizza! The owner knows about cross contamination, very safe. My son and I loved the pizza. Very friendly staff Highly recommended!

The good: pizza is still great...one of my favorites. The bad: this has never been a fancy place but the service seems to have slipped a bit and the salad bar was really bad today...eggs are frozen, lettuce is wilted, and wasn't fresh. This for a $70 ticket which was two pizzas and four salads - no soft drinks. Pretty disappointing... I recommend it for the pizza and other Italian dishes but probably just as well do delivery or take out.

Visiting from out of town, truck driver. Amazing, for the dinner for one. Pizza, pasta and salad. They delivered it to me at my location of where I'm getting loaded. Garlic beard was out of this world!!!!

Best pizza in Idaho.I drive 200 miles to just eat there.Old fashion crust and the best sauce you will ever have all the toppings are fresh even the meats they do not come out of a bag it looks like they cook that fresh also. Soda pop is a little watered down but who's isn't . Over all really great food.

Usually great pizza (the best in southern idaho). I have had a few bad experiences here though which is -1 star. They have usually occurred when the owner was out for the day and the staff gets sloppy on the quality. Overall is the quality is usually good and consistent. I recommend the seneta dinner with lasagna. Their lasanga is good.

Best pizza in southern Idaho. Excellent NY style recipe even better than many I have had in Manhattan. Crispy crust with good toppings.

Nothing special here. The thin crust has a bit of pie crust taste to the cracker texture. Poor wine selection. I would try another next time.

We were passing by and the husband and I said why not! We are from out of town and there were quite a few cars there. I walked in to see if there was a wait and when I first walked in I was met with the smell of re-used dirty dish towel- wiped down on tables over and over again with what I can only assume is dirty water! (You know the smell I'm talking about!) I quickly started looking around and it just looked unkept. Thankfully they had a wait...I honestly don't know why. But I hurried my way out of there to fresh air and to Thai food down around the corner!

Lets just be honest, it's not in the most appealing location but that's the only down side. Very friendly staff, good price/value and great pizza. Had the Four Alarm for lunch and was glad they offered personalized size.

We stopped in Twin Falls, ID on our way from Novato, CA to Bozeman, MT. Since this was the closest place--walking distance--from our lodgings it seemed like the logical place to have dinner. Sadly, logic has nothing to do with decent dining. Plus: The folks seemed nice enough. Minus: As other reviewers have noted, the service is incredibly slow. Fifteen minutes to get a sprite and margarita to the table? Are they pollinating the agave out back? Sorry to report said margarita had too much marga and not enough rita. I've never had such a sorry excuse for a cocktail. The food is--bland, possibly canned (the soup), and the loaf we were served was an embarrassment to bread. The wedge salad my son ordered consisted of an ENTIRE head of lettuce. The server might have mentioned the portions and suggested he get the 1/2 order available on the menu. I had to take a call toward the end of our meal and respectfully took my conversation outside. In the 5 minutes it took to finish the call, they had locked the front door leaving me stranded outside waving both arms like like a survivor at sea hailing a passing ship. I saw one of the servers look directly at me and then look away. Thanks, dude! I had to walk around the restaurant to the service entrance and bang on the door to be allowed back in. By that time, my son had signed for my credit card and was looking for me in the front parking lot. I asked him if he remembered to leave a tip and he did. 2$. Let that be a lesson to y'all. Ain't karma a bitch?

The food here is decent... My biggest problem with Maxie's is the wait. If you go in to order takeout, you WILL be waiting at least 45 minutes. Also, because I live 2 miles "outside of town", they won't deliver to me. I called a couple times to see if they would. I even told them I didn't mind paying a delivery fee, and I said I'd tip the delivery guy extra. The girls that answer the phone are always nice, but when they asked the manager, I heard him cut them off, mid sentence, yelling, "no deliveries outside of town!!" By the way, I googled it, and I only live 4.5 miles from the restaurant. If I feel like going here, I drive the extra couple miles, and go to the Maxie's in Kimberly. The food is better, the people that work there are great, and they have awesome chicken wings.

I've spent a week here trying to get a descent meal and really am in despair. This place is not the worst but neither cheese (their "special" blend), neither sauce (salty) are good. I have tried both lasagna and the pizza offerings with much disappointment. If you are from out of town and "spoiled" with even an average culinary selection of a large U.S. city, save yourself time and disappointment, just go to: Sushi Tokyo Japanese Restaurant - 1111 Blue Lakes Blvd N, Twin Falls, ID - (208) 736-1888 The owner is from Thousand Oaks, CA (L.A.) and a true Japanese owner/chief that loves what he does (he's been in the sushi business for over 40 years). You will not be disappointed.

Still the greatest place for pizza in Southern Idaho, the pizza and pasta are great with their own style. It has long been a landmark in the Magic Valley. My only critique would be that it could stand for a remodel, it looks the same as it did 30 years ago.

Best pizza in town. Service is slow, but worth it. Also, don't sit in the back room when the fire is burning or you will get VERY warm.

The pizza is decent with a crisp thin crust and ok flavor. I've stopped eating their pizza due to the owners decision to place politically motivated signs on his advertising board. I don't like to support businesses that place their political views above their advertising. They sometimes have notices supporting community events which is awesome, but stating political views goes too far. No more Maxies pizza for me. I'll keep driving around the corner on Kimberly Road to another pizza place.

No. This pizza is not as good as many make it out to be. And no, neither is the rest of the food. If people say they like the pizza at Maxie's it's because they haven't been outside of Twin Falls for the last twenty years. Would I go there again? Only if the other person were paying. Really, it's one step above cafeteria food.

I really don't think there is a better place to get some old school pizza in Twin Falls. It's very homely and delicious. Maxie's is a good place for friends and family

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
